Who We Are...
EarlyChildhoodExcellence.org is a strategic alliance between the Ohio Head Start Association, Inc. and Innovative Outcomes, Inc and their Center for Leadership Excellence, Inc. Technical support for the efforts of the alliance is provided by the Early Childhood Quality Network at the Ohio State University.

Why We Created EarlyChildhoodExcellence.org...
EarlyChildhoodExcellence.org is dedicated to advancing the agenda of excellence for young children and their families across North America and beyond. We intend to advance this agenda through the creation and continued development of electronic and other resources that will meet the needs of a variety of providers of services to young children and their families.

We believe that there are few professions where there is a greater gap between that which we know to be best practices and what it is we do each day. We want to dramatically close that gap through the creation and sharing of a wide variety of resources. We want to contribute to the development of this profession through the identification of unique and highly useful professional development tools and processes.

We want to create a constantly expanding network of individuals and organizations committed to advancing the early childhood excellence agenda. We want this network to work to advocate for excellence in the creation, design, funding and implementation of services to young children and their families. We want to serve as a resource to this network through the creation of an early childhood excellence information portal, a central point for people committed the agenda of excellence for young children might share ideas, ask for assistance and celebrate successes in this work.
